Former Mayor Dan Richer - Status
Former Mayor Dan Richer (Mayor Dan as he was affectionately known) is currently in the ICU following a motorcycle accident over the weekend of 07-12-25. Both Mayor Dan and his wife Crystal had to be life flighted from the East Lake/Paulina Lakes area following the incident. Crystal is currently in recovery with some broken bones but Mayor Dan remains in the ICU. Their daughter Lia has organized a gofundme page as both Mayor Dan and Crystal will be unable to work for some time following this horrible circumstance. The La Pine City Council, staff, and community are keeping Dan and Crystal at the top of our minds during this difficult time and support their recovery and healing.
