BLM Announces Seasonal Campfire Restrictions in La Pine Area May 1st - October 31st 2025

The City of La Pine in conjunction with the Newberry Regional Partnerhsip, has been working with the Bureau of Land Management, Prinville District, to implement seasonal campfire restrictions in the federal BLM lands surrounding the City and unincorporated areas of La Pine. These restrictions go into effect May 1st of 2025  and will extend through October 31st, 2025. The City would like to thank the nonprofit and federal partners, in addition to the Deschtues County Sheriff's Office, in this effort in bringing increased safety and consideration to South Deschutes County following a number of devastating summer wildfire events over the last four years.
