City Council Vacancy

CITY COUNCILOR VACANCY – NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

The City of La Pine City Council currently has one vacant seat and is accepting applications from individuals who are interested in serving. This individual will serve through December 31, 2028. This is a volunteer position.

The City Council is a five-member governing body composed of the Mayor and four City Council positions. The City Council meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. City Council members are expected to attend Work Sessions and Special City Council meetings, serve on various sub-committees or regional groups, and represent the City in various other capacities.

The vacancy will be filled via appointment by a majority of the entire membership of the Council. In order to qualify for appointment, an applicant must be a resident of La Pine within city limits for at least one year prior.

Applications will be received until February 5, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. (noon).
