Public Works Committee Vacancies
The City of La Pine is currently accepting applications from individuals who are interested in serving on the Public Works Committee. There are two vacancies, one which term expires 12/31/18 and one which term expires 12/31/19. These are volunteer positions.
The Public Works Committee is made up of seven members and currently meets at 10:00 a.m. on the second Tuesday of every other month (bi-monthly). The Committee monitors water resources, roadways, sidewalks, street lights, facilities and related equipment. The Public Works Committee acts as an advisory board and makes recommendations to the City Council and Planning Commission.
In order to qualify for these vacancies, you must be a resident of La Pine.
Applications will be received until interviews have begun. Members will be appointed by the City Council. Interested individuals are encouraged to visit City Hall for an application or go to the City’s website at www.lapineoregon.gov.
