Janis Curtis-Thompson

Councilor Curtis has lived in Oregon for nearly 50 years and has been a resident of La Pine since 2017. She and her husband chose to retire in La Pine to enjoy its natural beauty and small-town atmosphere. At this stage in her life, she is dedicated to giving back to the community.

Councilor Curtis has a deep interest in Greek and Roman history, landscape design, interior design, and gardening. She is a graduate of Portland State University, where she earned a degree in History and Religious Studies with honors.
